Connect to the Apple Developer Portal

It can also be painful and confusing to managing device universal identifiers (UDIDs) and your provisioning profiles. Once your Apple Developer Portal connection is set up, buddybuild automatically manages those changes on your behalf, any time you make changes to your roster of testers.

  1. After you add an app to buddybuild, you should see the Ready to try on a device dialog:

    1. The Invite a few testers button If so, click the Invite a few testers button.

    2. The Deployments button If not click the Deployments button in the top navigation bar.

    Whichever button you clicked, you should now see the Invite testers in 3 easy steps screen:

  2. The Set up code-signing button Click the Set up code-signing button. The Connect with Apple Developer Portal screen is displayed:

  3. The Connect button Enter your Apple ID and password, then click the Connect button.

    1. If you have two-factor authentication enabled for your Apple ID, a Two-Factor Authentication notice screen is displayed, reminding you that logins require a new verification code every 30 days:

    2. The Continue to enter your verification code button If you see this screen, click the Continue to enter your verification code button. The Two-factor authentication screen is displayed:

    3. Enter the two-factor verification code that Apple has sent to your laptop or mobile device.

You are now connected to the Apple Developer Portal! Continue with Upload your iOS certificates.
